Arnold Battle of Columbus First Official Competition Qualifier



Hi to all Martial Arts Community Family members,

We are excited to announce that the Arnold Battle of Columbus World Games is establishing the qualifier circuit to promote the Arnold Battle of Columbus 2019 World Games.

The Arnold Battle of Columbus (ABOC) has succeeded for 42 years with integrity and reputation, it wouldn't be possible without all of your dedication and commitment.

I'd like to ask you again to take a positive leadership role for this very first ABOC qualifier on September 8th, 2018 here in Columbus.

Please review the attached poster above with information and register as soon as possible. The online registration form will be up very soon.

Please post this info to all available forums and encourage your students to register to participate, let it begin with your registration first.

2018 Meditation For July BB Test

Sunday, 6/24, over 40 OMAC branches black belt students up to 8th dan completed 12 hours of meditation. The test coming on July 19-22 at Kenyon college during the 37th annual OMAC summer camp.
They completed 3-6 days of fasting prior to 12 hours meditation on Sunday. Sgm Choi leading the last phase of meditation. Congratulations to all OMAC instructors and students. This tradition has been started since 1971 after young master Choi brought taekwondo in the USA.

Moogong Ryu was founded in Korea in 1963 by Master Joon Pyo Choi and moved to the United States in 1971; the world headquarters martial arts school was located in Columbus Ohio in 1972. Senior Grandmaster Choi (now Kukkiwon 9th Dan certified) has studied multiple martial arts including Taekwondo, Hapkido, Gumdo, Karate, Judo and Kimoodo Healing Arts for over 50 years. The Moogong Ryu system offers holistic life skills focused on helping students to grow continuously as human beings. Over the years, Grandmaster Choi has trained over 20,000 students and produced over 20 national champions, world champions, and Olympic winners. He served as a coach for the USA Taekwondo team for the 1988 Seoul Olympics.
