Madison Elementary has asked us to return once more for their Mini Clubs event and demonstrate the martial arts for their K-5th grade children.

Kids get to choose out of several categories which class/demonstration to attend, and from what I know we had 30+ children pick Martial arts last month and we were glad to have them!

The particulars:

Who: Madison Elementary School, K-5 grades
What: Mini Class, 1 hr of martial arts demo/instruction
When: March 9th, 2012 @ 1:30 pm (class starts at 2:00pm)
Where: Madison Elementary School, 4600 Madison School Dr, Columbus Ohio
Why: Because kids are awesome

You do not have to demonstrate if you are not comfortable
demonstrating in front of a group of people, however you can still show up and help us coordinate all of the children. We had three members of OMAC arrive last month and one high-school volunteer helped us out as well. Primarily we go through Mooshim with the kids and then do some basic drills as well as some board breaking and padded sword fighting if time and space allow. However, with 15+ children in two separate classes, a few extra bodies would really help us to coordinate all of the kids.

Please let me know if you are able to make this demonstration, I hope you have ample time to arrange your schedule if it allows.

Thank you, Chris Smith
