Congratulations OMAC Headquarters Competition Team: Michagan Midwest Open
Congratulations to the OMAC Headquarters Competition team for the great efforts at the Michigan Midwest Open Tournament on December 3rd, 2011 in Milan, MI. The team of Xavier, Mrs. Rhinehart, Marjie, Niki, Brittany, Eissam and Salem were coached and supported by Head Coach Mr. Moosung Choi, Stephen Potter, Aaron Stapleton, Zoran Dejanov, and Mike Norwood.
The team performed extremely well and returned with a large number of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Xavier continued his impressive tournament sparring streak, winning Gold after his opponent bowed out of their second match.
Special congratulations go to Niki who traveled and competed in this tournament during his fasting period for his Black Belt test. Niki had not eaten for two days prior to the tournament, completely dominated his opponent, and brought home a Gold Medal in sparring. Niki capped off the weekend by spending twelve hours meditating on Sunday.

Next Event
Madison Elementary has asked us to return once more for their Mini Clubs event and demonstrate the martial arts for their K-5th grade children.
Kids get to choose out of several categories which class/demonstration to attend, and from what I know we had 30+ children pick Martial arts last month and we were glad to have them!
